Publication of Hcéres 2017 annual report

Hcéres is making public its 2017 annual report, adopted by its Board on 11 June 2018. This edition includes key figures relating to Hcéres’ activities, a review of the main events of 2017, an analysis of the High Council’s missions – “Evaluate to make clear” and “Observe to advise” – as well as information about organisational changes in the institution – “Organise to accompany”. 

2017 was a year for the consolidation of the major strategic orientations decided upon the previous year. The High Council’s teams are particularly closely involved in the first evaluations of clusters of higher education and research institutions, in setting up a new IT Department and in setting up the French Office for Research Integrity (OFIS). 

2017 was also marked by the renewal of European recognition of Hcéres. Hcéres membership of the European Association of Quality Assurance Agencies for Higher Education (ENQA) and its inclusion in the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR) have been renewed for a period of five years. This European recognition is of great importance to Hcéres and the bodies that it evaluates.
